Morning Doves prove Spring has arrived On the River...

Morning Doves....Symbols of Peace, and Love.

I had a fun day yesterday. It was the best day we have had, so far this year....I was outside playing when I spotted a pair of Morning Doves sitting together bodies touching, and they were going through this mating ritual. Heads bobbing, and rubbing their backs with their heads.
Then the best part. They kissed !!! Not just a peck on the beak kiss either....This was more like a passionate kiss!!!
The picture below, Sorry it turned out to big but, shows 2 Morning Doves Kissing. This is what they were doing.
Well.... I think we all can figure out what happened next!
All I can say is....they better get their nest built real soon!!!
