We have CRP land that we planted back to its native state with the Wildflowers and Grasses that grew here before the land was cleared drained and plowed to grow crops many years ago.

Take a ride on the Boogie Woogie Choo Choo Train. Looks like it would be a lot of fun!!!
I'm Feeling a little homesick now after watching several videos on Kentucky. Maybe I will take a trip home before winter arrives.
I did not write this, but it says pretty much what I would have wrote..... I guess all of us Kentuckians feel the same way about our State.
These are a few great pictures that remind me why I love being a Kentuckian so much. We have such great breath taken places to visit--especially Lake Cumberland, Kentucky Lake. We are the only State to be bordered by 3 rivers; Ohio, Mississippi, Big Sandy River. Not to mention Kentucky River, Tennessee River, Green River, Cumberland River, Licking River, Nolan River, Rough River. There is only one state, Alaska, that has more navigable waters than Kentucky...and oh yea, the fishing is great!!! God Bless Kentucky!
MY OLD KENTUCKY HOME by Stephen Foster
The sun shines bright in the old Kentucky home, 'Tis summer, the people are gay; The corn-top's ripe and the meadow's in the bloom, While the birds make music all the day.
The young folks roll on the little cabin floor, All merry, all happy and bright; By 'n' by hard times comes a-knocking at the door Then my old Kentucky home, goodnight.
CHORUS Weep no more my lady Oh! weep no more today! We will sing one song for the old Kentucky home, For the Old Kentucky Home far away.
They hunt no more for the possum and the coon, On meadow, the hill and the shore, They sing no more by the glimmer of the moon, On the bench by the old cabin door.
The day goes by like a shadow o'er the heart, With sorrow, where all was delight, The time has come when the people have to part, Then my old Kentucky home, goodnight.
CHORUS
The head must bow and the back will have to bend, Wherever the people may go; A few more days, and the trouble all will end, In the field where the sugar-canes grow;
A few more days for to tote the weary load, No matter, 'twill never be light; A few more days till we totter on the road, Then my old Kentucky home, goodnight.
