I started walking the fields looking for arrowheads around 20 years ago, and this is some of my treasures that I found over the years! Most of these came from the place where I live but, a few came from Kentucky.
This first case has one of most exciting finds, and its the one in the middle...It is around 7" long, Its made of sugar Quartz's, and is a knife!

This was a handle off of a vessel. A bear effigy. It came from
Kentucky.

This is my largest Axe. It is called a 3/4 grooved Axe because the groove goes 3/4 the way around.

This one is called full grooved...The groove goes all the around.

This is a pendent, made from Pipe stone, and was worn like a necklace. Next to it is a double bladed Arrowhead.
I really love this piece. Its a Hoe made from flint, and it has been used alot because, the end is highly polished.
From what I have read about them, they were handed down through generations, and the more highly polish means they had been around along time.
It is from Kentucky.
These are very old Buffalo teeth that I find in the corn fields on sights where Indian camps were.

The oblong pieces are called Celts, and they come in all sizes. They were used like the Axe but, had no groove.
The round stones, I call game balls but, I am not sure what their purpose was.
My coffee table with artifacts under the glass.

This picture is just to show you a sample of the kind of stuff I find in the fields.
The pieces with marks on them are Pottery.
The rest are flint.
I bought these necklaces at auction..... They are very interesting because, they are made of small safety pins, and beads....
One of the things the Native Americans made to sell to Tourist back in the 40's and 50's.

I bought these baskets also at auction..... They are old, and from the North West.

Old bag I bought. I think it was made by the Indians to sell to tourist also.
