This is totally crazy,but true! Have you seen them on the news yet????



I know I am a little crazy,but this is for real!
The Asian Carp have invaded the Illinois River to the point that it is dangerous to drive your boat through the waters where they are...Several people have been injured by the fish hitting them as they jump up and into the boats!
Also there is a new sport now! I watched this on a hunting program.People are paying outfitters $1000.00 for taking 2 people out at a time to bow hunt these Carp!
It was so funny watching these guys try to shoot one of these fish as it jumps from the water!
One guy lost his bow in the river as he attempted to shoot a fish when it jumped,and they also wear crash helmets when bow hunting these fish...It is not rare for a fish to jump right into someones head.
What the state of Illinois is gonna do about this problem fish,no one knows yet!
So if you plan a fishing trip in the Illinois River make sure you bring along your crash helmet with the rest of your fishing gear!
