I'm Posting Two Songs That My Cousin Wrote Many years ago...You may remember them if you listen to country music!

Happy Saturday night blog Crawl!

My cousin is a country song writer....She lives in southern part of Mississippi, and has many songs out there, but she had two that earned her much money, and a trip to the CMA awards the year that her first song she wrote " Looking For Love" sung by Johnny Lee....hit number one,and was nominated for song of the year ,but lost out to the song" I Believe In Love"

-Johnny Lee-
------------Looking For Love------------

This was another good one she wrote after" Looking For Love ",and Ann Murray was a big star at the time she did this song,so it did well also but not as good as "Looking For LOve"

----Anne Murray---

-------Just another Woman In Love-----------

 Driftwood Sculptures

When I seen this driftwood art I thought how cool,
and of my friend" River Rat ", because she does much creative work with things she finds out in nature......
These women make the horses look so life like....

I don't know who they are,but I would love to have one of their horses in my yard.

THEIR HERE ( The 17 year Locust / Cicada )

I took a couple days off to get my head together, and during those 2 or 3 days one of Mother Natures most amazing things took place in my area !

The return of the 17 year Cicada....If you live in an area where there are lots of trees you may know about the Cicada.
I took pictures, but my computer is not letting me get the pictures from my camera but this video shows them, and tells the story much better than I can.

I have millions here.It is a awesome sight for someone that is into nature like me. In this video you will see what it looks like here around my trees.

With millions of the Cicada also comes the singing. It is endless.
They sing all day,and all night.

They will breed, and lay their eggs for the next hatching around 17 years from now!

Its exciting to see this sight knowing we will not see it again in these numbers for another 17 years!

Are the Cicadas hatching in your area?
